Insert a column before or after a cell in Numbers

In Numbers, to insert a new column after a selected cell, press Option-Right Arrow. To insert it before a selected cell, press Option-Left Arrow.
Adjust print size of Numbers spreadsheets

To print large spreadsheets from Numbers '09 onto a single page, do View>Show Print View then slide the Content Scale, at the bottom, to adjust print size.
